Chhabbil
There are 20 chhabils in various areas of Amritsar city.
Temples
There are 4 temples managed by the sewa samiti in the Amritsar city.
Chintpurni Project
- There is a temple (prachin mandir) in chintpurni himachal pardesh managed by the samiti. Along with the temple there is a dharmshala maintained by the sewa samiti at chintpurni.
- An ayurvedic dispensary is also operational at the same place.
- Every year on the occasion of the chintpurni mela 15-20 members team is specially sent to chintpurni which stays there throughout the mela and organizes langar(Community kitchen) and medical aid center.
- The land for this project has been donated by Late Sh. ChhangnuRam of village Rehi (H.P.)
Other Activities
- Amritsar Sewa Samiti also provides ration to the needy families and books, stationary, school fee etc. to students.
- Scholarship is also awarded to brilliant students with outstanding performance.
- During winter season quilts are also distributed to the poor.
- There is also a burial ground for children on chabhal road, Amritsar.
- Full Course of medication for TB-paitients is provided by the samiti free of cost.
- Amritsar Sewa Samiti also helps orthopaedically-handicapped patients by giving them financial help for getting artificial limbs.
- Spectacles are also provided to the needy paitents.
- Amritsar Sewa Samiti also gives financial help to patients in need of very costly medicines.
